Candy asked: I am thinking about getting a dog.
There will be kids and 3 cats in the house.
I want a breed that will be able to handle cats, and 7 year old kids.
Sociable, nice, loving, etc.
What kind of dog breeds would be best for this kind of household?
And any other information that you would like to give me please tell.
BTW, we had a schnauzer a few years back. She died of old age at 14.

GardenGnome asked: I have done some research but can’t find a definitive answer. I may be moving to the Orlando area at the end of summer and would like to find out before I adopt a dog. Any answer or link to a good web site would be much appreciated.

Angela B asked: I live in a Northern climate, where it snows.
A lot of people ask why you’d leave a dog outside… Almost every animal I see lives outside from the tiny chickadee to the giant moose and they don’t freeze to death.
I am thinking of a hound mix that I can take for walks and rollerblading, and bike riding.

Girl Power! LOL asked: Please don’t repeat what someone else has said unless you are going to include your personal experience with that particular breed. I’m trying to get as many DIFFERENT answers as possible. Thank you!
Fallon, GSDs can be one person dogs. They only listen to their masters. I’ve learned that from experience.

ruffianXsecretariatXkelso asked: Just wanted to know. I thought Poodle and Papillon.
Well, like what dogs would you picture in a Coach collar and expensive clothes on with a rich snobby person.
Labradoodles?! No way!!! Mutts are mutts, there is no breed name for them. For the record I do like mutts just not when people give them names and buy them from puppy mills.
